(a non-profit organization)
The Mission of the Drake Davis Foundation, (a 501(c)(3) organization (20-8198140)) is to raise awareness of suicide prevention and to assist people whose lives are affected by suicide.  Formed in memory of Drake Davis who committed suicide  on January 4, 2006, the Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors who exemplify outstanding leadership, character and community service.  These scholarships not only provide needed financial assistance but also an occasion to raise awareness and talk about suicide prevention among young people.  Suicide is a problem that so few people talk about but awareness should be made of the impact of suicide on people in general and young people in particular:

The Drake Davis Foundation encourages you to "SPEAK UP and REACH OUT" to a person in need.
